After being confronted by Clint, both Hawkeyes team up for a dangerous mission involving several car chases and a shootout in Rockefeller Plaza. Vera Farmiga also has a brief cameo, who’s listed onIMDbas playing Eleanor Bishop, Kate’s mother, and a very small glimpse of Alaqua Cox as Echo/ Maya Lopez, another Marvel character that takes on the Hawkeye mantle.

Notably absent from the first trailer is Florence Pugh, who plays Natasha Romanoff’s sister Yelena Belova and was announced as appearing inHawkeye _after the events of _Black Widow(2021). It’s unclear whether Yelena will emerge as the series’ central antagonist or an unlikely ally for Kate and Clint. It’s also unclear whether or not the events ofHawkeyewill follow in the footsteps of Marvel’s most recent series,Loki, or factor in the MCU-altering events therein.
