Consider the following 10 sex-positive and LGBTQ+-friendly shops the next time you're looking for a new toy for yourself or your partner(s).
1. Babeland
Babeland was founded in 1993 as a safe space for women to shop for sex products.
Established in Seattle, Washington, in 1993, Babeland is a feminist, LGBTQ+-led retailer created by co-founders Rachel Venning and Claire Cavanah in response to the lack of female-friendly and inclusive sex shops in the area at the time. The brand, which currently has three brick-and-mortar locations (a flagship in Seattle and two additional locations in New York City) and a massive online store, was absorbed byGood Vibrationsin2017, but still has the same focus on providing sex-positive, education-driven spaces for folks of all genders.
